Here is a little information about what we do and who we are.

Campbell’s Sawmills specialise in providing Rail Way timbers including Timber Sleepers, Turnouts, Girders, and Transoms cut to spec.

We also produce oversize timber floor boards to order in random lengths for flooring and staircases.

Furthermore we specialise in large end timber products including Bridge Timbers such as Piles, Transoms, Girders, Decking and Longitudinal Sheeting.

Our item list for Fencing and Landscape products is extensive, with many sizes of rails, posts, palings, landscape sleepers available as part of our standard production. Packed in wholesale packs at great prices please contact us regarding you landscape timber requirements. Special Request & feature timbers can be quoted on request.

While sustainable logging always comes to mind in the timber industry, utilising the logs is also at the forefront of our mind. We have a variety of bi-products that we sell to ensure that as little as possible of the resource goes unused, including mill residue, sawdust and high quality mixed species firewood.

We are a second-generation family business which has been operating since 1978. From a start up business many years ago, that was grown from the ground up by Graham ‘Jock’ Campbell and business partner Ron Campbell and their wives, the company has flourished into a well-established sawmill that specialises in the railway and large end timbers.

After a move from Balranald in the Riverina District in 2010, South Grafton in the Northern Rivers area now provides a beautiful back drop right in the heart of the timber industry to continue the family business with Ron’s sons Tom & Brent now at the helm of Campbell Sawmills.

We have built a substantive network of professionals in the area to help us provide the best quality products and services we can to our customers. And with roots now planted deep in the community Tom & Brent and their families see a long and bright future for them in the timber industry with support from their father as he moves forward into the next stage of his life.

Supporting local sporting clubs and charities has always been very important to Campbell Sawmills with many years spent cheering on the Mighty Roo’s in Balranald and now supporting new clubs in the local area. It is also extremely important to us that we keep as many locals in stable full-time work as possible, and to continually give back to the community. We have a great group of people working alongside us to make the company what it is today, and we are very grateful for that.
